Meet Whitey

Whitey is probably the sweetest boy you will meet! He has such a great personality; very loving, gentle and patient. Whitey is typically seen by staff, resting on his bed in his kennel, when he realizes that we are there to see him he is always so happy! Whitey seems to be able to match people's energy well. If you are looking to go on a walk or hike, he is totally up for it. If you are looking to simply hangout and chill, he is all cuddles and love. Of course, Whitey will appreciate regular exercise and will never turn down a walk, but he is an easy-going guy. Whitey was brought to the shelter as a stray so it is unknown if he has lived with other dogs or children. He has not been bothered by the other dogs in the shelter and has a friendly demeanor when seeing them. He may do well with a nice friend, and we can always provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting if needed! Whitey has great manners. He appears to be potty trained, walks great on a leash and knows the cue “sit”. We suspect that he may be crate trained too considering how well he does in his kennel! Whitey is truly the best and we cannot help but adore him. If you meet him, we know you will adore him too!
