Meet George! He is a 10 month old, Blue, Great Dane. He is the sweetest guy you could ever meet. He wants nothing more in life but all of your love and attention. He is a quick learner and will thrive in a home dedicated to helping him continue his training with positive reinforcement and plenty of exercise. He would love a doggie sibling or weekly daycare/play dates to keep him from getting bored. Most of all he just wants to be with his family. He is house trained and crate trained. George likes neighborhood walks, playing with toys and relaxing with his people on the couch. George does well with other dogs when introduced properly, no cats or toy breed dogs please . He is very much a puppy and could accidentally knock over young children with his playfulness. Children over 10 years old preferred. George is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. Friends of Rescue requires a virtual home visit and vet reference priorto all adoptions. All Friends of Rescue animals are indoor family members.
Adoption Process
Applicants fill out an application. We do phone interviews, vet checks, and home visit. Then they pay adoption fee and sign a contract. They get a folder with all the vet records of the animal. Animals are placed based on what is best for the animal and their needs.
