Meet Ben - NEW - video

Ben and Jerry   Ben - black with white bib Jerry - chestnut with white bib   Male, Dachshund/Chihuahua (Chiweenie) mix, Estimated Birthday 1/17/24, Age 2.5 months, Weight 9 pounds   Meet Ben and Jerry, two puppies whose sweetness rivals that of the ice cream they're named after. Their personalities sparkle with affection, bravery, and a zest for discovery. Ben, the snuggle champion, finds solace in the warmth of a lap, melting into you like a scoop of ice cream on a hot day. Jerry, on the other hand, showcases his courage by boldly exploring every nook and cranny of his environment, his tail wagging like a little flag of victory with every new find. Together, they enjoy the simple pleasures of life, whether it's the joy of a soft petting session or the thrill of a playful tumble, always ready to shower you with puppy kisses and love.   Their story begins on a less sweet note, found abandoned by the roadside, treated as nothing more precious than discarded wrappers. But these two have turned their luck around with their resilient and loving hearts. They are likely a delightful mix of Dachshund and Chihuahua, with hints of other breeds adding to their unique charm. Expected to reach a cozy size of less than 25 pounds as they grow, their blend guarantees nothing but cuteness and an ideal companion size. Despite their rough start, Ben and Jerry are all set to find a forever home that cherishes their incredible mix of traits, proving that no matter their beginnings, they are 100% loveable and ready to fill your life with joy and affection.   Good with Dogs, Kids and Cats   * The adoption fee of $500 includes age-appropriate vaccines, initial de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, microchip and transport fee.  Transport destinations are: Hagerstown, MD; Milford, PA; Plantsville, CT; Warwick, RI.   * The application is the first step in all inquiries and adoptions     Canine Compassion Fund - Online Adoption Application www.caninecompassionfund.org/Forms/OnlineAdoptionApplication   * Additional information is available on our site caninecompassionfund.org
