Meet Yukon

Yukon is named after Yukon Gold and this little gold boy is an adorable potato! He and his brother (Russet now adopted) was rescued by one of our volunteers. Yukon is expected to be less than 20 lbs and is an approximately 10 week old Shih Tzu / chihuahua mix. Yukon is a very happy go lucky puppy and loves attention from people and other animals. He loves to play with his foster brothers and sisters but he also loves to get plenty of love from every person he comes in contact with. Yukon is working on potty training and cage training and he’s doing well but not quite there yet. Yukon has been socialized with other dogs and cats and he definitely loves to play with other animals so a dog friendly cat or a dog to play with is ideal for this little guy. Yukon would do best with another animal in the home to play with. Local adoptions will be considered first, as well as homes with other pups. Adoption Process
Completion of adoption application followed by online and telephone screening. Home visit and signing of a contract which states animals will be a indoor family pet.
