Please read ALL below where you will find answers about the pet, our adoption fees and how to do our adoption application!   Pet Description:  Jax is a one-year old, gorgeous male Siberian Husky surrendered for escaping his fence (most common reason for Huskies to be surrendered).  So - you need a Husky escape proof fence and if that doesn't make any sense to you - please do some googling and you will see what we mean.  Good with large dogs, NOT good with cats and let's say no to small dogs to be safe.  Great with children, was outside so not housetrained.  Being inside with his family might help his wandering desire.    DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.  (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).   The first step is to our Adoption Application here:  https://elmorehumane.org/adoption-application-online-form2.html .   IMPORTANT – we respond to your emailed applications and queries via email back to you.  Please make sure you have either added our email  ([email protected])  to your contact list or that you routinely check your SPAM folder for our response just to be safe. Adoption Process
ADOPTION FEES Dogs & Puppies.....$100.00. Cats....$50. This Price Includes......mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV); de-worming; rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test for dogs over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; pet health insurance from 24-Pet Watch (for covered illness or injury for 30-45 days) with your email address; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.
