Canine Compassion Fund

The Canine Compassion Fund, Inc. (CCF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  The CCF was established to help meet some of the specific needs resulting from canine overpopulation.  After extensive research several distinct areas were identified as needing immediate as well as long term attention and the following mission statement was developed -The mission of the Canine Compassion Fund, Inc. is to provide lifetime care and enrichment for surrendered or abandoned senior canines in a specialized facility and through a "forever foster" program; to help reduce the population of homeless canines through adoption and spay neuter programs; and to provide responsible pet ownership education to the public.

Available for Adoption: The L Litter Boys!   Lester, Levi, and Lewis – 1-year-old mixed breed pups who are sweet, social, and SO ready to find their forever homes! Male; 40 pounds; Birthday 2/14/24; Mixed Breed (mom appears to be a blue heeler mix and dad a hound mix) Meet Lester Lester is a sweet, easygoing, friendly pup with a playful side. He’s got a soft spot for treats, loves ear scratches, and knows when it’s time to chill. A total sweetheart waiting to be someone’s best buddy. He’s ready for a family to love and guide him as he settles into home life   Meet Levi Levi is the lovebug of the bunch—gentle, affectionate, and happiest when he’s close to his people. He’s crate trained, does great with other animals, and is eager to be someone’s loyal companion. Just add love!   Meet Lewis Lewis is lively, curious, and full of personality! He always has something to say and enjoys being part of the action. He’s great with other animals and would thrive in a home where he can learn, play, and maybe even be the life of the doggy party. Give him some toys and a little attention, and he’ll be best friend forever.   These one-year-old pups are ready to leave behind their beginnings and become cherished members of loving families. They’ve shown great potential—friendly with other animals, eager to please, and full of love to give. Adoption Process
Our adoption fees start at $175.00. It covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and starter prevention. Application process includes home visit and vet reference. Adopters must sign a contract. They can return dog back to us at anytime if it does not work out.
