Laramie Animal Welfare Society

We support the City of Laramie Animal Shelter by paying for medical care for all the surrendered animals and paying for all of their adoptions to be spayed/neutered. We also provide fosters for special needs animals and bottle fed kittens in the City Shelter Provide a spay/neuter coupon to community members. Offer a feral cat TNR program in Albany county and have a kitten foster/socialize/adopt program. Meet Poppy

The world is scary when you're a tiny cat. At least, that's what Poppy thought when she first came to LAWS as a kitten. Since then, she's learned that people aren't so bad and that pets and cuddles are actually pretty nice. Poppy is shyer than her sisters Lily, Rose, and Violet, but when she sees other cats playing, all her shyness goes out the window! She turns into a little goofball who loves to tumble and pounce. We think Poppy would be alright on her own or with another cat in the house. Her beautiful calico coat and sweet face never fail to get compliments from visitors and staff.

Adoption Process
Adopters must fill out application and provide 3 references and current veterinarian (if applicable). All animals are spay/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. Contract includes commitment to keep cats indoors (unless adopting a feral to be a barn cat), keeping identification on dogs, and returning animals to LAWS if owner can no longer care for them

Look for other cats for adoption!
