Meet Nebel

Mr Nebel wandered into the yard of a foster in Racine WI.  He was in bad shape.  He was definitely attacked by something, but he was super sweet and friendly!  He was brought inside, cleaned up and given some food and a soft bed. We went to the vet and were were estatic when a microchip was found!  We found his name and that he is 16 years old!! 16!!! But our happiness was short lived as the owner didnt respond to our calls, texts, emails, and letters mailed to the house.  The foster also posted him on a local lost animals page and his story is even sadder.  He was given away by his original owner (on the chip) and the new person took him in - only to let him out again and didnt want him back either! No one wanted this poor cat - so welcome to the PUPR familly Nebel! When we vetted Mr Nebel his attack was likely dont by another cat - as he is FIV positive.  He doenst have a mean bone in his body,but he will live with the disease.  He can live with other cats without an issue as he isnt aggressive. Resident cats can get an FIV vaccine also.  He could live as an only cat also. He is great with other cats, dogs and kids.   He just wants someone to love him and care for him in his senior years. Adoption Process
Adopters fill out an application which is processed with a background check, vet check and reference check. A home visit is completed before the adoption is final. Dog adoption Fees: PUPPY $350.
