Mama-Cal – The Regal Observer Mama-Cal is a stunning and serene feline with a story as remarkable as her personality. She arrived in foster care as a devoted mother to three kittens. Soon after, she surprised everyone by giving birth to another six boys—the now-famous "Fabulous Six Pack," all of whom found loving homes. Despite her past as a stray, Mama-Cal has a sweet and affectionate side that shines through once she trusts you. She may not be a lap cat, but she adores chin rubs and will gladly accept scratches when you come to her. Perched in high places, she watches the world with quiet curiosity, preferring to observe rather than participate in the chaos of daily life. Her foster home is a lively place, filled with other cats, two dogs, and even a bird. Though she takes it all in with her cool and composed demeanor, she remains above the fray—graceful, unbothered, and ever the queen of her domain. Mama-Cal is the perfect companion for someone who appreciates an independent but loving cat, one who enjoys your presence on her own terms. Adoption Process
Potential adopters must fill out an application form including information regarding declawing (we do NOT support declawing). We then call references and prior vet(s), as well as run a background check for legal issues. The Board of Directors approves an applicant. At that time, the animal is taken to the home and a home visit performed. If it is satisfactory, the animal(s) is(are) left at the new home. A two-week trial period ensues in order to make certain a "perfect match" has been made. Either the adopter or PFM can remove the animal from the home during that two-week period. After that, the adoption is final.
