Meet Midnight. He is a young guy who started out with his sisters and mom in the unknown world outside; running from danger and being taught how to survive. Luckily, when he was still young (about 3 months old) he and two of his sisters (Ginger and Torri), as well as his mom, were live-trapped and brought into the warm safeness of foster care. Midnight has really gotten calm and has been around dogs in his foster home. He kept bugging his foster mom because he wanted her to say the following: I am really soft and cuddly after I get to know you. If you don't want a companion to watch TV with you, then I'm not the cat for you. But, if you enjoy me staring over your shoulder or interfering with your screen time, then I'm your cat! I will also have conversations with you so you will never be bored. We feel that Midnight will do best in a home with a younger cat or adopted with one of his sisters. He would not be a good candidate as an only cat. If you are interested in Midnight, his sisters, or any of the adoptable pets at Purr-Fect Match, we ask that you fill out a non-binding application on our website at purrfectmatch.rescuegroups.org/forms. If you have questions, please email us at [email protected], or call us at 920-234-5995. Thank you for choosing to adopt!
Adoption Process
Potential adopters must fill out an application form including information regarding declawing (we do NOT support declawing). We then call references and prior vet(s), as well as run a background check for legal issues. The Board of Directors approves an applicant. At that time, the animal is taken to the home and a home visit performed. If it is satisfactory, the animal(s) is(are) left at the new home. A two-week trial period ensues in order to make certain a "perfect match" has been made. Either the adopter or PFM can remove the animal from the home during that two-week period. After that, the adoption is final.
