Meet Iñigo Montoya

It’s a cat unicorn! Meet Iñigo Montoya, the rare cat who actually likes getting his tummy rubbed! This shy guy spent two whole months at the city shelter where he was pretty withdrawn. Now in his foster home, however, he has acclimated again to domestic life and is a regular maniac.Iñigo starts out shy and takes a while to warm up, and will need an adopter patient enough to help coax him out of his shell at his own speed.  He'd probably prefer a household without a ton of traffic or with older children.  He won't be the kind of cat who mingles with guests at your parties, but he loves one-on-one time.  He's actually an attention hog once he's settled in, and demands a lot of lap time and snuggles beside you.Iñigo is a bit tone-deaf with other cats, and insists they share cat beds and toys in equal parts with him.  He definitely wants prime cuddle real estate as well.  He's not aggressive, but he is fairly self-assured about his demands.  He could also be a solo cat.  This cat, like many of his brethren, will do almost anything for a squeeze up meat tube. In his more playful moments, Iñigo Montoya loves to pounce on and play with his toy mice as well as steal every other toy within reach.   Iñigo Montoya has a heart of gold and a sensitive soul and he is waiting for the perfect family who can cherish him for the sweet gentleman he is. Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
