Purr-Fect Match Animal Rescue, Inc.

PFM has been formed by three people with over 30 years of rescue experience between them. We feel that there is a "hole" in current rescue/shelter efforts and we hope to be able to help fill that hole. One aim is to help people understand their animals by education of animal behaviors. Hopefully, that will reduce the number of animals being brought in to "shelters" in our area. We also intend to provide an online service where animals (who have been vetted by us) can be seen by potential adopters, whom we will vet the same way we do our own. Additionally, there are animals we come into contact with who need immediate rescuing. We are a foster-based organization (limited), and will intake the animal(s) as soon as a foster home has room. We follow strict protocol for vaccinations (distemper and rabies), testing (FeLV/FIV, heartworm, etc.), preventative (heartworm), spay/neuter, and microchips. All of the animals available for adoption through our foster homes is up to date on all vaccinations and tests. We spay/neuter our animals between 4 and 6 months if young, and as soon as we intake them if older. All of the members of PFM have previous fostering experience. We do this because, as our mission states, "Purr-Fect Match Animal Rescue is dedicated to the sanctity of all living things and their inherent right to a happy, healthy, and humane life." We hope to accomplish this one animal and one forever home at a time.

Meet Raven

Hello, I am Raven, I'm lovable little girl kitty, cute and adorable. I come from a home-raised litter of kittens, and we all were perfectly healthy since birth. I'm a small statured, all black kitty with white ear hairs. My coat is silky smooth I am a sort of wallflower and lap kitty. I hang with with my brother Mocha. The two of us are inseparable, and we have to be adopted together. The six other adult cats in my foster home are helping raise us: teaching, playing, and sleeping together. Some of them chase us around thru the whole house. The big cats all like me lots. I love to play with mousies and fuzzy balls and explore around. I can be found sometimes sleeping alone, or with my bestie Mocha. I love playing with toys and hiding them to find later. The most fun I have is running through the crinkle tubes with my buds and climbing on all the cat trees! Plus, sleeping in the sunshine or cuddled up on my blanket. Mousies, springs and boxes are my favorite toys! If you would come visit me, then I could meet you. You would see how I love playing with Mocha. We call out for each other when we can't find each other. I am rather talkative, and I have a cute squeal sometimes. I love to cuddle and snuggle too, once I get used to someone. I am a VERY smart cat! I am really hoping for a nice forever home soon, with my bro. I don't mess with drapes or the furniture because I have scratching posts and I don't mind getting my nails trimmed. I am pretty spoiled already, being raised with many other cats, I am very smart and can do some tricks! I love to sleep up high somewhere part of the night. Please let me share your home with you and you will be rewarded with my love forever! I do have a floating patella (knee cap) that the vet said doesn't need surgery now, but makes it hard for me to be able to escape danger and I probably shouldn't live with large herding dogs. Here are some videos you can watch with Mocha and me when we were younger: https://youtu.be/NuQ6oHztAu0 https://youtu.be/WrhG8bAYbxA https://youtu.be/0X5-ITVvuss https://youtu.be/VBOD_ZJYz8E If you would like to meet or adopt any of our animals, we ask that you first fill out a nonbinding cat adoption application on our website: http://purrfectmatch.rescuegroups.org/forms. If you would like more information, please email us at [email protected] or call our voicemail at 920-234-5995. Thank you for choosing to adopt!

Adoption Process
Potential adopters must fill out an application form including information regarding declawing (we do NOT support declawing). We then call references and prior vet(s), as well as run a background check for legal issues. The Board of Directors approves an applicant. At that time, the animal is taken to the home and a home visit performed. If it is satisfactory, the animal(s) is(are) left at the new home. A two-week trial period ensues in order to make certain a "perfect match" has been made. Either the adopter or PFM can remove the animal from the home during that two-week period. After that, the adoption is final.

Look for other cats for adoption!
