Purr-Fect Match Animal Rescue, Inc.

PFM has been formed by three people with over 30 years of rescue experience between them. We feel that there is a "hole" in current rescue/shelter efforts and we hope to be able to help fill that hole. One aim is to help people understand their animals by education of animal behaviors. Hopefully, that will reduce the number of animals being brought in to "shelters" in our area. We also intend to provide an online service where animals (who have been vetted by us) can be seen by potential adopters, whom we will vet the same way we do our own. Additionally, there are animals we come into contact with who need immediate rescuing. We are a foster-based organization (limited), and will intake the animal(s) as soon as a foster home has room. We follow strict protocol for vaccinations (distemper and rabies), testing (FeLV/FIV, heartworm, etc.), preventative (heartworm), spay/neuter, and microchips. All of the animals available for adoption through our foster homes is up to date on all vaccinations and tests. We spay/neuter our animals between 4 and 6 months if young, and as soon as we intake them if older. All of the members of PFM have previous fostering experience. We do this because, as our mission states, "Purr-Fect Match Animal Rescue is dedicated to the sanctity of all living things and their inherent right to a happy, healthy, and humane life." We hope to accomplish this one animal and one forever home at a time.

Meet Mocha

Hi, my name is Mocha, I was born inside a home and raised with the others in my litter since birth. My sister, Raven, is my soulmate. We are bonded and must be adopted together. We call out for each other when we need each other. I am a male cat with short hair. It is a color called a "brown tabby," so it is  tan and black tabby, I which makes me very unique! I am pretty much the leader of the two of us. I now live in a nice foster home with Raven and 6 adult kitties. It is so much fun here because I have all these others to run and play with. I am not a big cuddler. and love taking cat naps in the cat trees when I want quiet time. I also love running thru the whole house chasing whomever wants to play! Wrestling with anyone who wants to try me out. Hide and seek is one of my favorite past times. I love laying in the sun on a soft pillow and cuddle up with my sister most of the time. Here are some videos you can watch with us as the stars: https://youtu.be/NuQ6oHztAu0 https://youtu.be/WrhG8bAYbxA https://youtu.be/0X5-ITVvuss https://youtu.be/VBOD_ZJYz8E Chasing toy mice and sparkly balls or running thru the crinkle tubes are a favorite, along with climbing all the cat trees! I also really like running full blast through the basement with all the cats. I am well-behaved and like using the scratching posts. So I don't climb drapes or scratch furniture. I don't mind getting my nails trimmed. I am very spoiled and need a nice forever home to call my own with my sis. I am just adorable and would give you endless love and entertainment for life! If you would like to meet or adopt any of our animals, we ask that you first fill out a nonbinding cat adoption application on our website: http://purrfectmatch.rescuegroups.org/forms. If you would like more information, please email us at [email protected] or call our voicemail at 920-234-5995. Thank you for choosing to adopt!

Adoption Process
Potential adopters must fill out an application form including information regarding declawing (we do NOT support declawing). We then call references and prior vet(s), as well as run a background check for legal issues. The Board of Directors approves an applicant. At that time, the animal is taken to the home and a home visit performed. If it is satisfactory, the animal(s) is(are) left at the new home. A two-week trial period ensues in order to make certain a "perfect match" has been made. Either the adopter or PFM can remove the animal from the home during that two-week period. After that, the adoption is final.

Look for other cats for adoption!
