YesMeet Annabelle
This gorgeous green-eyed girl is Annabelle. She started coming around for dinner outside every evening. Pretty soon, the visits extended through the night and the garage became a pretty comfortable place for her. With her sweet, sociable personality and her musical meow when she was happy or excited, she quickly graduated to the house. A visit to the vet revealed a microchip that indicated she had once belonged to a country gentleman who simply adored her. When he sadly passed away, Annabelle was adopted by a different household. Something happened there that is unknown, and how she ended up fending for herself outdoors will never be known. She has a beautiful temperament with "her" people, and loves to have kisses planted all over her head. She loves to be patted and brushed. Annabelle is as playful as they come. She can’t wait to snuggle and have a soft bed to lie on. She will vocalize her joy at being with a loving family. Hear her talking to herself while she chases a wand or pounces on a toy mouse. Annabelle is an assertive girl who might be better off as a single cat member of her new family. She could possibly get along with another cat, but the introduction would need to be slow and carefully orchestrated. In any case, she will make a wonderful addition to whatever family is lucky enough to adopt her. Her contented purr will tell you she has found her furr-ever home. If you think you would like to meet or adopt Annabelle or any of our available pets, we ask that you first fill out a non-binding adoption application on our website: purrfectmatch.rescuegroups.org/forms. For more information or if you have questions, please email us at [email protected] or call our voicemail at 920-234-5995. Thank you for choosing to adopt!
Adoption Process
Potential adopters must fill out an application form including information regarding declawing (we do NOT support declawing). We then call references and prior vet(s), as well as run a background check for legal issues. The Board of Directors approves an applicant. At that time, the animal is taken to the home and a home visit performed. If it is satisfactory, the animal(s) is(are) left at the new home. A two-week trial period ensues in order to make certain a "perfect match" has been made. Either the adopter or PFM can remove the animal from the home during that two-week period. After that, the adoption is final.
