Meet Seniors for Seniors - no fee
Do you have a free lap? Would you enjoy the companionship of an older kitty? Our senior cats for senior laps program matches older cats with seniors in Highland who would love to have a kitty friend without the extra costs or concerns. HCHS provides kitties in need, delivered to your home. Highland County Humane Society (HCHS) includes food, litter, supplies, all veterinary care, etc The cats are vaccinated, neutered, and treated for parasites. All are litter trained and acclimated/socialized to people. HCHS also provides well checks and is available for all concerns/questions. If the foster parent decides to adopt the kitty they have first choice. If not, the kitty can remain a foster for as long as suitable for the foster parent. There is a short foster agreement, and there are no fees.
