Meet Marlow

Meet Marlow – The Sweetest Little Lady! 7 year old Marlow is a beautiful cat with a brown, black, and white fur pattern. She has unique spots all over and gorgeous green eyes that will make your heart melt. At first glance, Marlow might seem a bit shy—she likes to take her time getting to know new people and spaces. She is very skittish and any little noise may make her jump, but give her a little patience and a cozy hideaway, you’ll unlock her true personality: affectionate, playful, and full of sass. Once she warms up, Marlow is a total cuddlebug who will crawl up on your lap and won't accpet anything but affection. She also has a mischievous and silly side to her. She's a little explorer who loves getting into your things. Bags, boxes, plants... nothing is off-limits! That being said, she loves to nibble on plants, so make sure anything she can reach is cat friendly. She’s incredibly food-motivated and will let you know when she is feeling hungry. Treats or being the one filling the food bowl allows for bonding moments. Playtime? She’s all in—when she decides it’s time. Expect spontaneous zoomies and surprise attacks on dangling toys! She has her favorite toys, making it easy to keep her active and occupied! Marlow would do best in a quieter home with someone who understands that love is earned—but once you have it, it’s absolutely worth it. She would do best in a home with no other animals and older children. She is easily spooked, so too much stimulation would be too much for her. She vaules her alone time as much as her people time and loves spending the day curled up under some blankets. She is strictly an indoor kitty and would like to stay that way. All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with age-appropriate vaccinations. Adult cats have an adoption fee of $150. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com.
