Meet Marigold
Hi! My name is Marigold (Miss Mari). I am 6 months old as of 5/2/25, and I am looking for my forever home. I am a beautiful Tuxedo girl with a fabulous white tipped black tail. My foster mom says it reminds her of a magicians wand! I also have 4 adorable white paws with all black toe beans and really cool freckles on my legs.If you are looking for a friend that is your constant companion, I am your girl. My foster mom loves how I am her little shadow. You’ll have to watch where you step because I am stealthy and you may not even know I am following you! Besides supervising everything that my foster mom does, I also protect her when she sleeps. I love to be right by her side and snuggle up close. If you have a nice light blanket for me to sleep under, even better. You would think with all of my love giving and snuggles that I would like being picked up and held, but I would appreciate a home with an adult(s) or older kid(s) that will be fine with that boundary of mine or work with me (at my pace) with becoming more comfortable with the idea of being picked up. Don’t worry, I am super affectionate, and I don’t hold a grudge when my foster mom tries getting me used to it, I just don’t like it for some reason, at least for now.I have a fascination with a lot of different toys, and I love to play a lot. If I am not playing, I can be found snoozing next to my sis while my foster mom works. Oh yeah, did I mention I have a really cool sister, Clementine? Together we are a great package. Our personalities complement each other and we just keep getting closer as we grow. If you want a dynamic duo, please think of us. I haven’t ever met a dog, but I think with a proper introduction I’d be fine with one, and I really like other cats… oh, and humans, I really like those! All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with their initial age-appropriate vaccinations. Kittens have an adoption fee of $200 each or $300 for a bonded pair. Kittens must be adopted in pairs unless there is another young, energetic cat in the home. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.
