Meet Ocean Shores

NAME: Ocean Shores AGE/GENDER: 1 year old male BREED/HAIR LENGTH: Domestic medium hair TEMPERMENT: Cautious, playful, curious LITTER BOX: He is great with using the litter box. OTHER CATS: He would likely do well with another male cat that is confident and playful. Ocean Shores can be a bit too much for more submissive cats. DOGS: He would be okay with a cat-respectful dog.   CHILDREN: He would prefer a home without children.   LOCATION: He is currently in a foster home. A meeting can be arranged with an approved adoption application. ADOPTION DONATION: $150 HEALTH: He is neutered, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines. Your adoption donation goes toward offsetting the cost of this vet care as well as other incidental and general care costs.  HISTORY: Ocean Shores came to us from a rescue in Texas. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find him a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Ocean Shores is a stunning guy with long black hair and golden eyes. He loves the company of the other male cats in his foster home, so he'd like to be adopted into a home where he will have a kitty companion. He can take some time to settle into new places but once settled, he loves being pet. He is not a fan of being picked up or sitting on laps, but he enjoys attention from his people. Ocean Shores loves treats (especially Churu and dehydrated chicken) and he will be your BFF if you have those on hand! Loud noises and lots of commotion startle him but a quieter, adult-only home is perfect for him. He is active and playful. About Motley Zoo: Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue! We are a rock and roll themed, volunteer-run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Motley Zoo is a FOSTER BASED organization, which means our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. We do not have animals available for casual viewing or same day adoption. Due to the volunteer-run structure and decentralized/virtual nature of a foster based group, an approved application is required to make an adoption appointment for any of our animals. If you are interested in one of our Adoptable Roadies, please email [email protected] and request an adoption application. We will work toward getting you approved as an adopter so that we can set a time for you to meet your new best friend! Motley Zoo also runs Rock Star Treatment Services in Redmond, WA where proceeds from this service, help support our rescue's $15,000/ mo vet budget- however, this is NOT a shelter. For more information about daycare or training, check out www.rockstartreatment.org. Please visit our website www.motleyzoo.org for more information! Thanks for considering adoption- we look forward to helping you find your best match in a furry friend. Rock on- The Motley Zoo Crew

Adoption Process
We’ll send you an application for you to fill out. Once we review it, we’ll follow up with any additional questions or to arrange a meeting. Upon meeting, we request that all family members and other dogs be included in the introduction to ensure that everyone has a chance to decide if it’s the right match for one another.

Look for other cats for adoption!
