Our website has information about our rescue, adoption process and link to our adoption application www.collarofhope.org We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit. Some of our kitties can be seen at our PetSmart partner store in Gig Harbor and it will be noted on their profile if they are at this public location. Cheeks is an incredibly sweet kitty. He will never turn down a good petting or brushing, but has only just started to seek out affection on his own. He prefers the seat next to you as opposed to your lap. Cheeks settled in and warmed up very quickly in his foster home. He loves to stretch out and take in some nice belly rubbings. He has a lower activity level, typical for this breed. Cheeks loves a good scratching post, so have a nice one ready! While Cheeks is extremely tolerant and has displayed zero signs of aggression, it is clear he does not prefer young children. He is better suited to a house with older (10+) kids. There has been no experience with other animals except the female he was found with. He is fine with either men or women and is unbothered by fireworks, vacuums, and barking neighbor dogs. Cheeks is super chill and just so, so sweet He will make for a wonderful companion! Cheeks does have a heart murmur but is otherwise healthy. Our vet had no issues doing his neuter using proper protocol. He is a very picky eater and has yet to get onboard with a better and more appropriate cat diet (cats are 100% carnivores so thrive best on a high meat content diet). We are still trying to nail down a good diet for him meanwhile. Prior to adoption, as a minimum, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated age appropriate (will need additional vaccines in some cases), parasite treated/prevented and micro-chipped.
