Meet Dogwood *kitten*

Meet Sassafras and her brother, Dogwood, just 8 weeks old (as of June 6, 2025) These babies came into care when we received a phone call that advised us we had mere minutes to find a foster home for them before the man was going to throw them into the woods at just 4 weeks of age. (They would not have survived.) We can't make this stuff up, folks! The phone call was quite volitive, but patience prevailed as the most important thing was to get these kittens into care. Success!Sassafras (female) is a little white with brown tabby. She loves to romp, play, wrestle, cuddle and nap with her brother. Dogwood is a long-haired fluffy black kitten who loves his sister and enjoys playing and cuddling with her. These two are bonded and will need to be adopted together. There is a $55 discount when adopting two.Their purrfect home would be most any loving home with kitten - respectful children. They get along with cat-friendly dogs and cats. Both Sassafras and Dogwood are/will be dewormed, received 2 distemper vaccines, a rabies vaccine, be spayed/neutered, combo tested, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. Adoption Process
Once adoption application is approved and references checked, an adoption contract is signed. For all Shrinking Violets - not fully socialized cats - the adoption fee is $25. Requirements of adoption: may not declaw, if for any reason it doesn't work out the cat MUST come back to our organization. The cat's new, adoptive home must be an indoor only one in a quiet, low activity home, with older children. Must take to vet w/in 10 days.
