Meet Church
Hello, I'm Church! My favorite thing is when my foster mom scratches under my chin or gives me belly rubs - I give her big purrs and make excellent air biscuits. I sometimes hide when she first comes in, but if she's patient I'll come out and give her all of my love! I like other cats and dogs, as long as they're nice to me! I know that I'll be an amazing companion for someone in a quiet home, as long as they're willing to give me time to adjust to my new environment. My foster mom tells me I'm very handsome and have a lot of love to give - I just need some time to trust you!Unfortunately I was part of a big group of cats, and some of the others picked on me a lot. It's made me a bit nervous, particularly around new people or animals. When the rescue first brought me to my foster home, I was so scared that I managed to escape my carrier and scratch my eye on something! My foster mom took me to the vet and my eye is healing now with some topical medicine. It took me a couple of days, but I soon realized that my foster mom is really nice and likes me a lot, so I'm relaxed with her. Please give me a chance to show my love.If interested in learning more about Church or to adopt, please submit an online application and a adoption coordinator will contact you.
