Meet Herbie
Hello there, I'm Herbie, the friendliest tomcat you'll ever meet. I'm all about the head bumps, a good purr, and a gentle touch. I'm quite the curious fellow too. Now, you might be wondering how I ended up here. Well, let's just say curiosity didn't just kill the cat, it also got him into a shelter! I once chased a laser pointer all the way into a dog obedience class. Talk about a cat-astrophe! But don't worry, I'm all about the love, not the chaos. So, if you're looking for a gentle, friendly, and slightly hilarious companion, I'm your guy! If you are interested in adopting Herbie, please fill an adoption application out here: https://humanesocietywarrencounty.com/adoption-application/ Our adoption coordinator will process it and get back to you as soon as possible (typically within 24 hours) If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call at 540-635-4734 to speak with a kennel attendant or reach out to us through Facebook! Interested in adopting? Fill out an application at www.humanesocietywarrencounty.org For more information email [email protected] Stop by the shelter today to visit with our adoptable dogs and cats! Adoption Process
Interested adopters must fill out an adoption application. We verify that current pets are UTD on Rabies vaccinations and spayed or neutered. If the applicants rent we verify with the landlord that they are approved to adopt a pet. Adopters must fill out an adoption contract and sterilization agreement if the pet is not already altered. Pets that are not altered can only be adopted out to residents of Warren County or a surrounding jurisdiction. The adoption fee for cats is $15 and the fee for dogs is $30. The adoption fee does not include the cost of spay or neuter. If the animal is not altered adopters are required to have the pet altered within 30 days of adoption or by the time it reaches 6 months old.
