Meet Maddie
Meet Maddie! Maddie is a gorgeous orange and white, long-haired cat, just 2 1/2 years old. Maddie originally came to us as a kitten from a high-kill shelter with a few other cats. They were all living in an overcrowded home - 10 cats in all - and were surrendered to the shelter, where they immediately faced euthanization. Maddie's brother, Jojo, is still with us. (Please check out his bio also.)Maddie was adopted but sadly her owner recently moved and abandoned Maddie and another cat, Tux in an apartment to fend by themselves. The landlord found them and contacted us. As you can see, being abandoned seems to be a theme for poor Maddie so far, but she seems no worse for the wear. After all, sadly, this is all she has known. We know that good, loving humans are still out there and hope Maddie will find a home with one.Maddie loves a sunny window and comes for scritches and affection on her schedule. She enjoys being around her foster mom and dad, and loves a good corner to hang out and nap in, and as mentioned, can always be found in front of a sunny window. She does not seem to be bonded to her former roomie, Tux.Maddie is dewormed, spayed, up to date on her rabies and FVRCP vaccines, tested negative on her combo test, and is microchipped with a lifetime regstration. Maddie would LOVE a home with a mommy (and maybe a daddy) that won't abandon her. (It hurt her feelings.)
