Meet Astro

Afin d'avoir une chance de l'adopter, veuillez remplir notre formulaire d'adoption directement sur notre site web:  https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/nous-contacter/formulaire-adoption/     Astro was found outside in July 2024 before being brought to the Animal Rescue Network. He was dirty and hurt. He looked like he might have been hit by a car or something else. He was microchipped and we were able to find his family who decided not to take him back. We learned that Astro had heart issues necessitating medication twice a day. He takes his medicine very well if you mix it with his food. Considering this, we decided to find him a foster family who would be able to offer him a temporary home. Even after all this, Astro still loves to be around people! He is the friendliest cat ever, he will even climb onto a stranger just to say hi. His favorite thing to do is sit on your lap or if he is being playful, he loves to chase around a ball. He loves to be petted and always being around people. He also loves to hide under a blanket to feel warm. During the winter, he loves to sit next to the heater and will lay there all day. He will meow at you if he wants your attention or is hungry, you will know exactly when he wants you to play with him. He is also a grown up cat - he is able to be independent and alone during the day if you are out of the house. If you are looking for a social and loving cat, he is perfect for you! Astro is an adult cat therefore the adoption fees for him are $290. He is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the support of the adoption team for as long as you need it. You will also have access to a free 30 minutes video consultation during the first month following the adoption with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ).   In order to get a chance to adopt him, please fill out our adoption directly on our website:  https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/contacts/adoption-form/
