Ahimsa Haven Animal Rescue

Ahimsa Haven was incorporated in 1999 as a nonprofit animal rescue group. Our mission is to find good homes for abused, abandoned, homeless and unwanted domestic animals. I began as a volunteer and recently joined to Board of Directors and the Fundraising Committee. I do this because I love animals and have two rescue dogs myself.

Meet Louie

Louie is an adorable mini panther! He is 7 years old, very talkative and a friendly guy.  He cannot be on a home with children, he is afraid of them.  Older teenage kids would be fine.  He would make a wonderful companion for someone.  If you are interested in adopting, please fill put an application online at  ahimsahaven.org . Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.   As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.

Adoption Process
An application is required. Fees vary based on age/type of animal. Meet n' Greet with other dogs in house is required.
