DOB 11/10/23 Hey there, everyone! I’m Garfield, a.k.a. Golden Nugget, a sweet, curious, intelligent, and playful red-tabby fella who sheepishly boasts about my perfectly balanced personality. I’m not gushingly affectionate, but then I’m not aloof; not too energetic, yet not lethargic; not overly talkative, but not too quiet either. As Goldilocks would say, “Garfield’s just right.” When I was six months old, my owner moved out of the apartment and left me behind. The upstairs neighbor took me in, but then he was evicted. Thank heavens, since Foster Meowmy is the neighborhood cat lady, as soon as she found out that I was homeless for the second time, she scooped me up and brought me to the safe haven of her home. At first, I was a little skittish because I’d been much too young to endure the trauma of double abandonments. It took me a while to realize that I didn’t have to be “on guard” that I'd lose my home again, and once I felt secure, I started soaking up Foster Meowmy’s love. I’m not picky – I love to play with all my toys and sleep anywhere. I made fast friends with Cody, my flame-point Siamese foster mate who’s about a year younger than I am. All day we pounce and tumble, climb and wrestle with each other, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse together. I'm so happy! Now I’m ready to bring my winsome ginger-tabby good looks and endearing equilibrium to my new home. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me! Although we’re available separately, Cody and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. That way we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.
