Friends of Rowlett Animals

FRAs is an all-volunteer 501 (c) (3) Texas organization founded in 2004. FRAs is working to improve communication between shelters and the community. By partnering with our local animal shelters, networking with animal rescue groups, utilizing community resources and social media, as well as conducting off site adoption events and fund raisers, we are able to help increase animal adoptions.

Meet Brindle

** COURTESY POST ** ** This animal is NOT at the Rowlett Animal Shelter, so please do not inquire with them ** ** For information contact Amanda Quinn;  ‪469-430-8495 (text)‬;  [email protected]  ** Brindle is a domestic long hair cat about 2 years old and is a tortoiseshell in color. She is spayed and up to date on shots; uncertain if microchipped, but will check. She will be taken to the vet before adopted by her new owner to make sure everything is well. Brindle is a chatty, snuggly girl. Her favorite pastimes include: Telling stories Throwing tiny stuffed animals across the room and then chasing them Reminding you it's dinner time (she's helpful like that) Climbing to the highest spot in your house and presiding over her domain like a gargoyle Reaching for you with her paws as you walk by Snuggling in cat trees, boxes, blankets, or anything else that looks somewhat comfy Sitting on the arm of your chair Getting super offended when you're on the phone and not paying attention to her Brindle loves humans, but she doesn't like dogs and takes a while to warm up to other cats. When she first meets a new human, it's not uncommon for her to run and hide. However, she's very treat motivated and once she recognizes you as someone who will be nice to her and give her treats and pets, she's quick to get attached.

Adoption Process
Adoption fees range from $75 to $125, and the adopters sign an adoption application stating that they will take care of their new pet both physically and emotionally.

Look for other cats for adoption!
