Meet Amanda
ID #23130 – Amanda (fka Miss Kitty) Amanda was surrendered to the shelter on 2/24/24 because her owner was moving out of the country and could not take her with him. She is around 10 years old, spayed, current on her rabies vaccination, and is declawed on her front paws. Amanda is a young senior at 10 years old. She is declawed in the front and has long hair. She is currently groomed short due to coming into the shelter matted. Amanda was not a fan of the shelter with all the barking and people coming and going. She is doing much better in foster care. Amanda would like a calm home as she was likely an only cat and not around dogs. Ideally a single owner or older married couple with a quiet home. A home without small children would be best for her, as well. She enjoys time looking out the window, cat treats and petting. She has not yet tried out lap time. Please consider Amanda as she really needs saving. If you are interested in Amanda, please contact Patty at 817-915-1450 (call/text) or email her at [email protected]. Cat adoption fee is between $50.00 and $100.00, depending on neuter/spay surgery, vaccinations, and various tests performed. ALL ADOPTED ANIMALS MUST BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED AND RABIES VACCINATED WITHIN A SPECIFIED TIME OR CITATIONS WILL BE ISSUED TO THE ADOPTER.
Adoption Process
Adopters must complete an adoption contract and be approved by a GAP representative or the foster parent before adoption. All dogs are required to be put on or continue their heartworm preventative and are highly encouraged to be on flea preventative.
Adoption fees from the Euless Animal Shelter are: male dogs & cats = $60, female dogs and cats = $85. Male puppies under 4months $125, female puppies under 4months $150 to cover all puppy vaccine series, deworming, and neutering. Adoption fees for animals in foster: male dogs = $100, female dogs = $125 (this includes heart worm testing in addition to the vaccines and neutering). Cats in foster are $60 for males and $85 for females. If an animal has a different adoption fee, it will be listed on their specific adoption page.
