*** Courtesy Post – Rachelle’s adoption is not through the Euless Animal Shelter *** This stunning, short haired, 1-year old, orange tabby was rescued from a shelter as a stray, feral kitten. In foster care Rachelle became somewhat comfortable around people, but remained un-adoptable. After 3 months with a different foster, Rachelle decided she really liked the attention people gave her; likes to be petted and play with people, but she isn’t yet keen about being held. She can be a bit of an alpha cat, so she would be best with another cat that might be larger in size, or older/more confident. Rachelle is really a sweet, young girl and will make a great addition to a home with just a little patience. She is FeLV/FIV negative. She is available for an adoption fee of $100 with Tall Tails Rescue. Please contact Cathy 817 994 9388 with questions or to adopt. All of our cats are indoor only and no declawing is allowed.
Adoption Process
Adopters must complete an adoption contract and be approved by a GAP representative or the foster parent before adoption. All dogs are required to be put on or continue their heartworm preventative and are highly encouraged to be on flea preventative.
Adoption fees from the Euless Animal Shelter are: male dogs & cats = $60, female dogs and cats = $85. Male puppies under 4months $125, female puppies under 4months $150 to cover all puppy vaccine series, deworming, and neutering. Adoption fees for animals in foster: male dogs = $100, female dogs = $125 (this includes heart worm testing in addition to the vaccines and neutering). Cats in foster are $60 for males and $85 for females. If an animal has a different adoption fee, it will be listed on their specific adoption page.
