Meet Boots and Simba

Meet Simba and Boots a bonded pair of DECLAWED cats about 8-10 years old.  Simba is a short-haired mackerel tabby male.  Boots is a dilute calico female.  Unfortunately, their owner experienced an unexpected critical incident and had to go into an assisted lived permanently.  They have been around older children and do beautifully with people.  We don’t think they will do well with other cats but will be fine with dogs or won’t chase them.  They are both cuddlers and smugglers.  Boots is a lap cat, and Simba will love on you and cuddle next.  Simba is more independent than Boots.  Both love to play.  They have been fully vetted and healthy.  They desperately need of a new permanent home.  If interested in these wonderful, loving cats as a bonded pair, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or [email protected]  

Adoption Process
Potential adopters are required to complete our application before adoption. Our adoption fee varies based on the age and breed of the cat. The fee includes testing for feline leukemia and aids, the series of distemper vaccines, the rabies vaccines, wormings, advantage so they are flea free when you take them home, a veterinary exam, and the spay or neuter. Microchipping is available for an additional $45. The adoption fee is waived for qualifying adopters interested in one of our sponsored cats. At the time of adoption, adopters must sign a contract indicating their willingness to obtain all remaining vaccinations, treatments, and spay or neuter. If a placement doesn't work out (e.g., a family member discovers he/she is allergic), the animal is returned to the Stray Connection and re-adopted.
