Meet MINGUS POOKIEBUTTS

MINGUS POOKIEBUTTS is a really big name to give to a small, black male kitten! This little darling arrived the beginning of May 2025 as part of a group of 10 kittens that found their way to the shelter. They were estimated at about seven weeks of age at that time. Since then, MINGUS has been a great brother and companion to the other kittens in his group. He has steadily put on weight, had two sets of kitten vaccines and was dewormed routinely. Next step is getting this little fellow adopted! That will be staff’s job - and his! MINGUS has not yet been neutered and that must be done before he can go home with you as your own. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!

Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
