Meet GRIFFIN (Neutered!)
GRIFFIN is a long haired black and white male tuxedo kitten. He arrived at the shelter in mid May 2025 along with five other siblings. This good looking charmer is one of the largest in his litter and he has personality galore. He is a good brother and play monster! And he looks absolutely adorable no matter what he is doing! Thanks to HART, a local cat rescue group that assists the shelter, GRIFFIN was neutered on May 28. As a result, he can go home the same day that he is adopted. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter requires EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking a cat carrier to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt this good looking fellow or one of the other spayed or neutered kittens or cats currently at the shelter. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
