Wild About Cats of Cumberland County

Small but extremely dedicated. Started 10 years ago. Sadly, MANY homeless cats in this mostly rural area where folks prefer hunting dogs and the local, under-funded shelter is always full. We can't stand to see the cats left unsheltered, unfed, and generally discarded. We promote S/N all the time.

Meet Putter

Putter weighed 23 pounds when she was rescued.  Since being rescued, she has been eating a weight management food and has lost almost 2 pounds! She is a sweet girl that loves, actually is infatuated with, the laser light.  She was a putt-putt at first, but she is getting faster every day chasing that red bug! She greets you and really just wants lots of petting and to be told that she is a pretty girl. She would be best as an only cat and good for a senior person. She was born in February 2020. She has been spayed & is up to date on her vaccinations.

Adoption Process
application, background and reference checks, Facetime, and finally contracts. Phone or email follow-up within the 1st week of adoption. Local adoption fees $75-$100. Transported cats $125.
