Meet Lollipop
Lollipop is a cute short haired calico with tabby markings. She is very uniquely and interestingly marked. She has one orange tabby front leg and the other front leg is gray tabby. She has been is foster care since she weighed 1 pound. As a results, she is super sweet, loves to be held and carrier around, and sleep with me every night. She is only a tiny bit spoiled. She was found by herself on the side of the road, so no littermates that we know of. However she has been raised in a foster home with other cats and LOVES them. She has every adult cat in my house wrapped around her little finger. She snuggles and plays with all, whoever is available. She hates to be alone, so she will not do well as a solo pet. She LOVES everyone as soon as she meets them. She is VERY playful and active. She loves to play with toys or other cats and is never bored. She gets along well with other cats, and we think she'd be great with dogs and kids. She's negative for feline leukemia and aids, had her first distemper vaccine, been wormed, had advantage for fleas, and been vet checked and spayed. Additional vaccines included in the adoption fee. Preference will be given to local adopters who have a young playmate/companion for the kitten or are willing to adopt a pair. We do not adopt kittens to homes where they will be a solo pet. If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or [email protected].
Adoption Process
Potential adopters are required to complete our application before adoption. Our adoption fee varies based on the age and breed of the cat. The fee includes testing for feline leukemia and aids, the series of distemper vaccines, the rabies vaccines, wormings, advantage so they are flea free when you take them home, a veterinary exam, and the spay or neuter. Microchipping is available for an additional $45. The adoption fee is waived for qualifying adopters interested in one of our sponsored cats.
At the time of adoption, adopters must sign a contract indicating their willingness to obtain all remaining vaccinations, treatments, and spay or neuter. If a placement doesn't work out (e.g., a family member discovers he/she is allergic), the animal is returned to the Stray Connection and re-adopted.
