Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue

Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue's mission is to provide shelter and loving care for animals who have been abused, abandoned, owner surrendered or otherwise destined to be euthanized due to over-crowded shelter conditions. At no time shall they be euthanized due to time constraints, medical need or other issues. Through the use of foster homes, Proverbs will provide loving care for our animals. This includes veterinary care, food and any other necessity until responsible, loving homes can be found for all adoptable pets. All animals shall be spayed or neutered and we will make every effort to encourage those we encounter to do the same.

Meet Virginia

Estimated Date of Birth: 2/14/2025Virginia is a sweet and affectionate little tortie girl with just the right amount of sass. Rescued alongside her sister from a rural shelter through a life-saving team effort, she’s come a long way and is ready for a home that appreciates her gentle spirit and playful streak. This chatty girl loves to explore at her own pace—curious but careful. Once she’s comfortable, she’ll roam and investigate, but when it’s time to nap, she heads back to her safe, cozy space (unless a kitty friend is nearby—then she might snuggle up wherever they are). Virginia is all about the laser pointer and isn’t shy about asking for attention—on her own terms. She’s not a fan of being picked up, but she is a fan of rubbing against your legs, following you around, and demanding her share of affection (just ask the dog she both hisses at and then lovingly chases down for cuddles!). Virginia would do best in a home with a confident kitty companion and older children who understand her boundaries. She currently lives with other cats, dogs, a baby, and a toddler, and handles it all like a pro. If you're looking for a loving, slightly dramatic, laser-chasing tortie to complete your family, Virginia is waiting to win your heart.Sibling is VictraAdoption fee: $150 Adoption fee for two kitties: $225Virginia is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and negative for Feline leukemia and FIV.
