FLUFF

We are not exclusively breed specific, but we do tend to be a Persian/Himmie/zot rescue as well as some other specialty purebred. We also specialize in neonates (of any breed). We tend to take the more significant medical cases, especially orthopedic. As a result we are a deliberately small rescue. We are very careful not to overextend our human and/or financial resources.

Meet Basil23

Basil is a ~1 1/2-year-old boy who loves affection more than most cats. I think he'd crawl under your skin if that was allowed. He sleeps on his foster's head every single night and is the perfect movie night companion. He is 100% a lap cat. He just wants to be loved! He absolutely must go to a home with another playful cat! We wouldn't be comfortable with him going to a home without other cats (will still need a proper introduction and we offer guidance there). He doesn't care for dogs or other animals (not mean, just doesn't prefer them), he ADORES cats. He is also extremely playful and wouldn't be a good fit for a cat that doesn't enjoy playing. Ideally, an adopter would have another young, playful cat and have plenty of time to spend with Basil. Now, remember, Basil is a Persian and requires combing daily. His face gets dirty quickly, so a daily+ facewash is in order as well. So, if you would like to add this adorable, loveable, cuddlebug to your family, please complete and submit our application at www.FLUFFNashville.org to let us know you are interested.**Helpful Hint: you are welcome to submit inquiries first, however, if you are really interested, we strongly recommend that you go ahead and submit an application because others are, and this kitty may be gone by the time we get your inquiries answered.

Adoption Process
Online application>Application processing>Kitty Meet-N-Greet>Contract/Adoption fee (typically $150 but can vary and includes age appropriate vaccines, FIV/FeLV test, S/N, Microchip, other medically necessary care).

Look for other cats for adoption!
