With a rough start to life, Rue is finally ready to settle down and looking for her forever home. She was found as a stray in rough shape. She was emaciated and had signs of previous trauma, and it was clear that she had not been able to eat while out on the street. She came in with a laundry list of problems (emaciation, dehydration, fatty liver disease, skin fragility syndrome, a lip avulsion, a broken tooth, a blood clot in her ear, and an old healed break in her back paw). After almost a year of intensive nursing care and wound management (thanks to her skin fragility, she developed multiple large wounds), Rue is finally healthy again and ready for adoption! She has had a long journey to get to this point, so we want to be extra sure that she lands in a wonderful home full of love!
