CATastrophe Upstate Rescue

We strive to give as many cats as possible a second chance at a good life, especially those who are most vulnerable: the abused, injured, disabled, terminally ill, or in need of medical care. We treat, vaccinate, fix, and rehome the cats we bring in.

Meet Leroy

Leroy is a needy boy! He loves to be pet and purr while he sits with his human. If you spend too much time on the phone or computer then Leroy is perfect for you! He will get in between you and all of your electronics, even if you don't want him to do so. He does not believe in enabling technology addictions. Also, don't ever consider sleeping alone again, because this guy needs as much cuddle time as possible with his people. Oh, and he likes to play a lot and can play with toys all by himself, so he is well-behaved without a human home to watch him. He also has a unique-sounding meow that has made his voice stand out when asking for treats...which he loves! Leroy is scheduled to be neutered in May but could go to a home as a foster to adopt, where full ownership would transfer after his neuter is completed and final shots have been received. His adoption fee is $100 and would be due upfront in a foster-to-adopt situation, but in the event the potential adopter does not choose to adopt him after fostering then the fee would be refundable.

Adoption Process
We have an adoption application. Upon approval, adopters will be able to have a home trial and then decide if the pet is the one for them. If so, there is a $100 adoption fee and an adoption contract.
