CATastrophe Upstate Rescue

We strive to give as many cats as possible a second chance at a good life, especially those who are most vulnerable: the abused, injured, disabled, terminally ill, or in need of medical care. We treat, vaccinate, fix, and rehome the cats we bring in.

Meet LC

LC is named after our own little sweet cat - Chip. LC is Little Chip because her ear is missing a chip. She's sweet as can be, but she really isn't interested in other animals. It is possible that she could acclimate if she had only 1 or 2 other pets in her home, but there are just too many here. For this reason, we are discounting her to a $25 adoption fee, which is well below the amount invested in her, but we feel she would be much happier somewhere that she can be the only pet or at least without so many others.   She's very loving, and will join me in the bedroom with other cats, where she is fine with them. She likes to play and has the sweetest-sounding meow. She is also tiny, but fat. She also hangs the tip of her tongue out and she is adorable with the pink against her black coat.   She is very affectionate and one of the easiest bathers ever for us. I was very impressed with her calmness under the faucet, especially since she was already several months old when she came to us. She will make a great lap cat for someone.   LC has been spayed and is up to date on shots and comes with a microchip.

Adoption Process
We have an adoption application. Upon approval, adopters will be able to have a home trial and then decide if the pet is the one for them. If so, there is a $100 adoption fee and an adoption contract.

Look for other cats for adoption!
