Meet ILeah
Hi, my name is ILeah, but my foster mom calls me Sweet P! I have a purring machine that sounds like a Ford 150 and it even makes my tail shake!! My happy place is being in my bed curled up in my fuzzy blanket with one of my siblings. Sometimes after a meal, I will run to my blanket, flop on my back, put all four paws in the air and wait for a gentle belly rub. I have just discovered a laser light and now we are talking playtime. I want you to know that my foster mom spoiled me a little by serving me breakfast in bed… but don’t we all enjoy that once in a while. She would put the bowl of wet food right beside me and I didn’t even have to stand up to eat….now that is kitty heaven. ILeah wears a soft calico fur coat, has a birthdate of 6/6/2025, up to date on vaccinations and will be spayed when age appropriate. She is looking for an indoor home with a lap she could warm, toys and a playmate…perhaps one of her siblings. If you are looking for a gentle kitty that enjoys being loved, come meet ILeah! *************************************************************************** This pet comes with an implanted 24 PetWatch microchip and free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service. *************************************************************************** This cat is available for adoption at the Humane Society of McCormick County in SC for an adoption fee. All of our cats are indoor kitties. To adopt, contact 864-391-2349 or [email protected]. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 organization. To learn more, visit www.hsmcsc.org.
Adoption Process
Our adoption process starts with an interview. We want to know what type of cat or dog they are looking for, their lifestyle, and their expectations. Then we set up a meet and greet either at the shelter, a pet store, or at their home. Then they fill out an adoption contract. We offer and encourage potential adopters to take the dog or cat home on foster-to-adopt for a few weeks before finalizing the adoption. Our adoption fee is $65 for cats and $125 for dogs which included spay or neuter and vaccinations and for dogs, it includes a microchip. Cats can be microchipped upon request.
