Benton is a faint grey on grey tabby - with a mackerel tabby pattern. Benton is the alpha of the litter. He is almost always the first to bolt out of the kitten room door when it’s opened. He is super smart and not afraid of anything. (He will need to be watched very carefully when any outside door is opened). He is totally looking for a friendly kitten or playful cat to bond with - - his play instinct is high and a buddy to snuggle with will be his best home. This wonderful litter of kittens has been with me and my family for a month now. They are all healthy, adorable, very sociable kittens who have learned good habits and demonstrate them every day. They started out spending the first few days in my foster cat room (an extra bedroom set up just for foster cats). Once they were feeling comfortable with my husband and me and our own four cats, they were very happy to come out of their room and explore the rest of our house. They have met our grandchildren and our young neighbors who come to play with them. Now they spend just nights and a few hours during the day in the foster cat room. They get along well with our young adult cats. Benton is the last of his litter to find a Forever home but we think we saved the best for last in this case. Adoption fee is $200. Indoor only for this charmer. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the foster parent for follow-ups and meeting arrangement. Adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, and negative FIV and FeLV test. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.
Adoption Process
Adoptable cats and kittens are shown on our website with detailed profiles and pictures. To help our potential adopters learn more about the cat(s), we encourage them to first contact and discuss with the foster family if it might be a good fit. Potential adopters must submit an adoption application for review and evaluation. We also have onsite Adoption Events on a weekly basis. Our adoption counselors are present to handle the interview and adoption process.
Our adoption fee for single kitten is $120 and $200 for a pair. Adult cat adoption fee is $60.
We require that adopted cats be mainly indoor cats and no declawing is allowed. Adopters must be over 21 years old and sign a contract that lists out his/her responsibility as the cat's owner.
