Meet Olive (Goofy and Playful) - $70

Meet Olive!    Olive is a short-haired tabby. She is approximately 1 year old. She came to us after being rescued from a terrible home environment. Ask in the office if you want details about her previous life. She was adopted and it wasn’t a good fit despite the adopter’s patience and love. Please read about her below before considering adopting her. She’s a loving, wonderful kitty with people. She is friendly and loves everybody she meets. She loves toys and has lots of kitten energy but is much calmer than most kittens.    She doesn’t like other cats and can react very strongly. She’s proving to be cat-selective. When she first arrived, she struggled with severe diarrhea likely due to stress. She will need to stay on a special diet of sensitive stomach food. This has made the diarrhea better after many months of experimenting with different foods. She needs to be an only cat or have enough room so that she doesn’t have to interact closely with another cat. She would love a home where she would be the center of attention. We are not sure about dogs. It would depend on the personality of the dog and how they were introduced.  She did great with a kid in her previous home but it would depend on the family dynamics and age of the kid(s).    Recently, we took her to the vet to deal with a medical issue. Lumps started appearing on the side of her spine. They got bigger and started duplicating. After some diagnostic testing, it was determined that her kidneys are floppy and sit in a weird place. We have documentation from the vet stating this and her test results. Her kidneys are fully functional and in excellent health at this moment. This could change in the future so this is something to consider. She’s so playful and loving and would love to be your new best friend. We require the cat manager's approval to adopt her due to her various issues as we want to ensure she goes into the perfect home.  Contact us today or stop in to meet her!   Our prices are       Kitties 0-4 months - $80       5 months -7 Yrs. -  $70 8 Yrs.
