Meet Ruby

You never quite know where life will take you, and for me and my brother Scrimy, it’s been a bit of an adventure already! We’ve lived in a couple of different homes in our short lives, but now we’re safe with SCC and hoping to find our true furever home together.I’m Ruby, a sweet 1.5-year-old black-and-white tuxedo girl with a heart full of love. My absolute favorite thing? Cuddling! Scoop me up, and I’ll curl into a cozy little ball in your arms. I especially love snuggling in bed and getting brushed—pure bliss!I’ve lived happily with my brother Scrimy, but I haven’t spent much time around kids or dogs—they’re a little overwhelming for me. I can be shy when I first meet you, but after a day or so and some gentle one-on-one time, I’ll be your loyal cuddle companion.I’m strictly an indoor girl and would adore a quiet home where I can feel safe and loved. A sunny windowsill to watch the world go by would be the cherry on top! And if you’re open to adopting a bonded pair, please consider Scrimy too—we’re the best of friends and would love to stay together.Are you ready for twice the love and purrs? Adoption application, vet/personal references checked, adoption contract must be signed, animals spayed/neutered. Adoption donations: Dogs: Puppies (6 months and younger): $150 Dogs over 6 months: $100 Exceptions: Purebred: Starting at $250 Senior or Medical Issues: $60 Cats: Kittens (6 months and younger): $100 Cats over 6 months: $50 Exceptions: Purebred: $150 Senior or Medical Issues: $35
