Hi, my name is Rosemary. Life in my house is really busy - all the comings and going of my human parents and my human siblings - seriously, it has gotten to be too much for this gal. My human mom knows that I am very unhappy and she said that she would work with SCC to see if we could find a quiet home where I can live out my senior years. So, about me - I am about 9 years old and would really do best as an only pet. As a senior, we all know that sometimes medical issues come up. Well, in my case, I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. It's actually pretty common and easily treated with medication. In my current home with the young kiddos, they are kinda noisy, there are also some other cats, and to be honest, they are just not nice to me. I might not be a true "lap cat" but I would happily sit beside my person and watch TV. I have lived an indoor life and that is just fine by me. A perch by the window would be great, so I can watch the world go by. I am microchipped, will be brought current on my vaccines and am good with the litterbox.
