Meet Harp! Harp and his siblings came to the rescue after being found alone outside at only 3 weeks old. They were skinny, covered in fleas and battling infections. Fortunately, they were found by a kind person who brought them to us. They are feeling much better now and are ready to meet their new families! Harp is goofy and feisty. He has been one of the chunkier boys in his litter and loves to run around and tackle his siblings. He has a gentle, sweet side and is always thrilled to receive pets and attention. Harp hasn't met dogs yet but should adjust easily to them. He does well with children and other cats. He is being fostered in Akron, OH. Harp was born around the end of April 2025. Kittens do best in homes with other cats! The ideal home for Harp will already have a cat in the home or be interested in adopting him with one of him littermates. The adoption fee for a single kitten is $100 and a pair of kittens is $150. The adoption fee includes: negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines (feline leukemia, FVRCP), de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip. Depending on Harp's age at adoption, feline leukemia and FVRCP vaccine boosters may need to be continued with his adopters' vet, and he will need her rabies shot when he is 14-16 weeks old. Harp will be 8 weeks old in early July. He will be ready to go home with his new family around the weekend of July 11th, after his neuter surgery. Applicants are welcome to meet Harp and his siblings in their foster home now. We will collect a $50 deposit (deducted from his total fee) to hold him until adoption day. Adoption Process
The first step to adopting is to fill out the Online Adoption Application at www.rosesrescue.net. After your application has been reviewed and approved, one of our volunteers will get in touch with you. As long as your application has been pre-approved, the pet's foster parent will set up a time with you to come visit the pet you're interested in. In some cases, a home visit may also be required. If all goes well, you will then sign an adoption contract, pay the adoption fee, and then your new pet is ready to go to its forever home!
