DOB: 2020 *BONDED TO MISS KITTY* Susie is bonded to her mama, Miss Kitty, and they’re looking for a loving home together. Susie is a brave little soul who adapts quickly to new environments. She’s playful with toys, loves lounging in warm sunbeams, and enjoys being near her people. She’ll patiently wait for pets and often cuddles up in bed with you. With her stunning dark grey coat and markings that mirror her mama’s, she’s as beautiful as she is sweet. These two gentle girls were sadly surrendered through no fault of their own and will truly thrive in a calm, caring home. **This cat is currently in a foster home and arrangements can be made for a meeting once you have applied with us. All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.**
Adoption Process
We have an application that requires the potential adopter to wait until their application can be verified. Once everything checks out the adopter comes and picks up their new fur member of the family and signs a contract. One of the highlights of our contract states that if for ANY reason at ANY time they cannot care for the animal, they must return the cat or dog back to Colony Cats (& dogs). Our adoption fees are $100 for kittens (4 months and younger), $85 for kittens 5 or 6 months, $75 for adult cats, $50 for Wise Whiskers (7 years and older). We often have adoption specials where the adoption fees are lowered. The adoption fee includes the animals already being spayed/neutered, Feline Leukemia and FIV tested (cats), heartworm tested (dogs), all vaccinations (FVRCP and DHLPP), rabies vaccine (if kittens or puppies adopted are not old enough to have received a rabies vaccine, then the new owner will need to go to their vet to get this done), microchip, flea/tick/heartworm preventative.
