Paws Across Pittsburgh

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals.We have a monthly pet pantry, provide temporary fostering for emergency situations, have a Senior pets for Seniors program, and more.

Meet Nemona

Nemona, a 10-week old black beauty, is the epitome of moxie. So much energy and attitude all bundled up in such a tiny body! She loves to climb and play with her mom, Coco, but she loves hunting most of all. Her typical day involves early morning chasing, mid-afternoon naps and then toy hunting in the evening. She loves playing with feather toys the most. Though she can be feisty at times, you won’t notice it much because her personality is so captivating! If you happen to be looking for a pair of cats, Nemona and her mom, Coco, would be perfect. They'd love to stay together since it's just always been the two of them!
