Meet Rhea
Meet Rhea! Rhea and her siblings were born at their foster home after their mama Moira was found living outdoors as a stray. She had been dumped at a local state park and was close to delivering her babies. Rhea is the more mellow and quite girl in her litter. She is loving and enjoys wrestling and playing with her siblings. She hasn't met dogs yet but should adjust easily to them. Rhea does well with children and other cats. She is being fostered in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Rhea was born on May 5th. Kittens do best in homes with other cats! The ideal home for Rhea will already have a cat in the home or be interested in adopting her with one of her littermates. The adoption fee for a single kitten is $100 and a pair of kittens is $150. The adoption fee includes: negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), spay surgery, age-appropriate vaccines (feline leukemia, FVRCP), de-worming, topical flea protection and a microchip. Depending on Rhea's age at adoption, feline leukemia and FVRCP vaccine boosters may need to be continued with her adopters' vet, and she will need her rabies shot when she is 14-16 weeks old. Rhea will be 8 weeks old on June 30th. She is scheduled for spay on July 7th and will be ready to go home with her new family the weekend of July 11th. Applicants are welcome to meet Rhea in her foster home now. We will collect a $50 deposit (deducted from her total fee) to hold her until adoption day. If you're the perfect family for Rhea, please visit www.rosesrescue.net to fill out the online adoption application. Adoption Process
The first step to adopting is to fill out the Online Adoption Application at www.rosesrescue.net. After your application has been reviewed and approved, one of our volunteers will get in touch with you. As long as your application has been pre-approved, the pet's foster parent will set up a time with you to come visit the pet you're interested in. In some cases, a home visit may also be required. If all goes well, you will then sign an adoption contract, pay the adoption fee, and then your new pet is ready to go to its forever home!
