TARA BLUE is a big beautiful 3 year old tortoiseshell kitty looking for a home. She is a gentle affectionate girl who loves her toys. She also loves a good belly rub. Tara Blue was adopted from SDHR as a kitten and was recently returned to us as she was no longer a fit with the other kitties in her home. Tara Blue is a girl who thrives on stability. Disruptions to her her routine tend to stress Tara Blue out. She needs a quiet home where she will be the only kitty. No dogs or small kids for Tara Blue. Tara Blue is currently overweight, we are working on getting her back to a healthy body weight. If you're looking for a gentle affectionate companion, Tara Blue is your girl. If you'd like to meet Tara Blue, please fill out a cat adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. You can meet Tara Blue at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. Our cats are fully vetted and require indoor-only homes. All other pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. We will not send cats to homes where they will be declawed, a harmful practice that can cause lifelong physical and behavioral problems. Our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, dewormed and microchipped.
Adoption Process
We offer Foster To Adopt for dogs adoptions.
You must complete the application, be approved and pay a $100 deposit ($150 puppies). You can then take the dog home for a trial visit of up to one week This will help you determine if you and the dog are the right match. If yes, then you can finalize the adoption. If no, then you return the dog to us and you are welcome to try a different dog. complete the necessary paperwork and pay a $100 deposit for adult dogs and $150 for puppies (cash, check or credit card). This fee is non-refundable, and will be applied to the adoption fee if you decide to finalize the adoption.
The adoption fee includes the dog's spay/neuter surgery, parvo/distemper shots and rabies shots (for dogs over 6 months), deworming, microchipping, flea and tick protection, heartworm testing (for dogs over 6 months), and monthly heartworm protection until the dog gets adopted.
