DOB: 2018 *BONDED TO SUSIE* Miss Kitty is bonded to her daughter, Susie, and they’re looking for a forever home together. Miss Kitty may be a little reserved at first, but once she warms up (which doesn’t take long) she becomes a total love bug who adores pets and attention. She’s incredibly cuddly, loves to be brushed, and will happily sleep by your side and greet you at the door. Despite being an older adult, she’s still quite playful and has the most stunning bright green eyes. These two gentle souls were sadly surrendered through no fault of their own when their owner could no longer care for them. They’ll thrive in a calm, loving home where they can feel safe and cherished. **This cat is currently in a foster home and arrangements can be made for a meeting once you have applied with us. All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.**
Adoption Process
We have an application that requires the potential adopter to wait until their application can be verified. Once everything checks out the adopter comes and picks up their new fur member of the family and signs a contract. One of the highlights of our contract states that if for ANY reason at ANY time they cannot care for the animal, they must return the cat or dog back to Colony Cats (& dogs). Our adoption fees are $100 for kittens (4 months and younger), $85 for kittens 5 or 6 months, $75 for adult cats, $50 for Wise Whiskers (7 years and older). We often have adoption specials where the adoption fees are lowered. The adoption fee includes the animals already being spayed/neutered, Feline Leukemia and FIV tested (cats), heartworm tested (dogs), all vaccinations (FVRCP and DHLPP), rabies vaccine (if kittens or puppies adopted are not old enough to have received a rabies vaccine, then the new owner will need to go to their vet to get this done), microchip, flea/tick/heartworm preventative.
